Srinivasan, Popularly known as Power Star Srinivasan is an Indian film actor, director and producer known for his spectacular work aimed towards popularity in Tamil cinema. He has produced and acted in the Tamil movie Lathika (2011). He is a Acupuncture Doctor by profession which he still practices. He has acted in guest roles in movies such as Mandapam, Unakkaga Oru Kavithai, Neethana Avan and Indrasena. As of September 2012, Srinivasan was playing the lead role in a Tamil film Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya produced by actor Santhanam. He owns a hospital called Lathika Hospital in Chennai.
Power Star Dr Srinivasan, a business man turned doctor, turned out into an actor, saying about the reason, why he turned out to be an actor was that, after failures in all the profession he chose, he finally stepped into acting with the blessings of Shridi Sai Baba.
After the success of 'Lathika' (200 days), the doctor turned actor is awaiting the release of his upcoming flick 'Ananda Thollai'. Power Star Srinivasan has a separate fan following for his punch dialogues and power packed roles he plays in his movies.
